Invest More in Science Instead of Religion for Our Nation
It is because we are lacking in action, so does the government inaction. The slow response and lacking in counter measures to curb the spread of this virus has in fact make things worse for the entire nation.
Some will be wondering why is this coronavirus spreading like a rocket speed. First our nation’s government machinery has not been serious about curbing this virus even from the beginning. Much politicking has been played in the latest political scene. And our nation then experienced a very long period without a government which had made things even worst for everyone. The nation’s administration came to a complete standstill following a coup d’etat which caused the previous government to collapsed.
Religious matter has been another big issue in the daily affairs of the state with each trying to outdo one another with each claiming to be more religious than the other. One side claimed his kind of religious undertaking is purer while the other claimed his kind of religious practice is greater than another. Almost every day every single issue has been made a religious issue out of it in order to gain public support. Some were none-issue, but it was made a hell of it for so many political reasons.
Our nation’s politicians are firefighting daily because religion is a very hot and fiery topic. They have no time for practical things at all.
Because of this, our nation has lost focus and deliberately forgotten about science and development of our nation through scientific experiment and development because all of us were carried away by one particular enemy, that is religion.
Our nation has been investing and relying too much on religion because this establishment still believes in divine intervention rather than development of science in order to bring our nation forward. Our nation was looking at Vision 2020 but we are not really moving towards it because religious matters are still being played about in our daily affairs especially in terms of how our nation should be governed or administered.
And here you go. Life after life is gone. Almost daily we see the new sick check in and being diagnosed of the coronavirus. In the end, the movement control restriction or order was imposed in the entire nation and the entire nation’s economic activities then came to a full stop. Losses are being calculated and it is increasing. Bankruptcies and closure of businesses can be expected anytime from the day the restrictions were imposed. Due to this, unemployment is expected to increase, inflation has started with massive increase of prices of essential goods.
What did the government offer? This stimulus package, that package, speeches after speeches and confused statements. All these stimulus packages came too late. The economy is going down, the dead are increasing, people are getting miserable in their lives, zombie towns and cities are in the making with more red zones declared
The impact has definitely endangered our nation and the government is not even certain if it can carry on and survive for the next couple of years. If you are insisting that it wasn’t religion, then look at the religious Iran and Pakistan, they are using religion to resist the virus but it did not stop but instead spreading to make lives a hell in these two nations.
Our people and nation must learn one most important lesson today. We must be practical in our daily activities. The development of science is the most essential effort to curb such from repeating in the near future.
Investments should be focused on science instead of religion. We must strive for continuous change, development and analyse on what should be improved and developed to face the future.
Religion must remain in the household and treated as a personal obligation of all individuals. The state and its institutions must therefore disconnect themselves from the affairs of the religion and focus entirely on science, practicality and its development in order to improve the well-being of our people and our nation as a whole.
