Umno's Claim Of A "Chinese Tsunami". How True?

When the results of the 13th general elections (GE13) was announced, the opposition coalition, Pakatan Rakyat (PR) had managed to spring a bigger surprise over its rival, ruling coalition Barisan Nasional (BN) by having increased its parliamentary and state seats nationwide.

As the opposition coalition and their supporters were overjoyed, BN leaders, particularly from Umno then aimed their salva at the Chinese community, alleging that the Chinese has revolted against the BN government by not supporting the ruling coalition, thus immediate called the GE13 results as a typical "Chinese Tsunami". From there, Umno leaders continuously attacked the Chinese community and had urged the government to avenge their defeat on the second largest ethnic in our nation.

And until yesterday, it was still Umno's claim of the "Chinese Tsunami". Umno leader wanted to remind the other ethnics every day that it was the Chinese who are against the other ethnics. However, if you see the Black 505 rally at Padang Merbok today, do all of us see the majority of those rally goers? Yes, the rally is definitely not a "Chinese dominated" or "Chinese instigated" ones as claimed by Umno earlier.

It is indeed a rally attended by all Malaysians to show our dissatisfaction over the electoral frauds engineered by the BN government and the Elections Commission (EC). Again, we repeat, not only the Chinese, all Malaysians are expressing their discontent against the BN government and the EC over the electoral frauds which happened in the recently concluded GE13.

Well, what has been seen and reported in most of the online news report has proven the fact that it is a Malaysian-based rally, regardless of whatever ethnics are involved. Whoever who are attending or has attended and has being supporting the rally today are all Malaysians from the entire nation.

Guess, what? By tomorrow, Umno leaders would definitely manipulate the scene in order to make it as a "Chinese rally" or "Chinese revolt" in the mainstream media channels starting today in order to pit the other ethnics against each other. The blaming the Chinese game will continue.
