Umno Leaders And Warlords Are Full Of Hatred
First, it was BN chairman Najib, who said it was terrible Chinese tsunami, then former premier Mahathir joined the chorus by citing the tsunami was a tragic one, followed by the rest of the Umno leader who kept drumming up their hate sentiments against the Chinese community by repeating the words nationwide blaming the Chinese community for their reduced majority in the parliament and state legislative assemblies.
And recently, controversial Perlis Umno warlord and newly appointed minister in the prime minister's department, Datuk Shahidan Kassim told the press that "even a Chinese could be a prime minister, provided that they drop their racist mindset". What does this Shahidan trying to say? Racially, what is this guy trying to prove here? When MCA, Gerakan and SUPP were enjoying its strongest presence in the parliament and state legislative assemblies prior to 2008, did Umno ever give the leaders of MCA, Gerakan or SUPP the opportunity to take up the position of prime minister?
Can Datuk Shahidan please answer this question? Did Umno keep its hold on the prime minister's position all this while just because MCA, Gerakan and SUPP still have a particular "Chinese racist mindset" during the period of their strong presence? And now, when MCA, Gerakan and SUPP lost almost all the seats that they had contested in the last GE13, the blame was then switched over to the Chinese community who are sitting outside the BN coalition. Just what kind of unreasonable reason was Datuk Shahidan trying to justify here?
It looks like, when BN was enjoying support from the Chinese community, then the racist mindset of MCA, Gerakan and SUPP are very thick within the coalition, that is why these Chinese-based BN component parties couldn't get the prime minister's position at all. But when MCA, Gerakan and SUPP were badly defeated in the GE13, then it has been the fault of the Chinese community nationwide for having the racist mindset of rejecting MCA, Gerakan and SUPP in the last two general elections.
Come on Shahidan the Datuk! Accept the facts that the Chinese community nationwide today are very much Malaysian than all of the Umno leaders. The majority in the Malay community outside Umno too are very much Malaysian. In the last two general elections, the Chinese community had supported PAS candidates with open arms. Is PAS a Chinese-based political party then? The Chinese community not only support DAP in particular but also PKR, a Malay-majority political party. So, what is the attitude of the Chinese community when they are voting for PAS and PKR? Can Umno leaders explain in detail?
If none of the Umno leaders could explain such, we will then tell them what mindset does most in the Chinese community have today. A Malaysian Mindset indeed. The Chinese community has voted for PAS and PKR candidates in a very high percentage. And the Chinese community has even strongly supported Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim and has ever ready to accept him as prime minister of our nation, if PR were to make it to Putrajaya. The Chinese community did not demand that only DAP leaders like Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng, Teresa Kok or Boo Cheng Hau should be prime minister if PR were to win over Putrajaya.
Please be informed that the Malaysian Chinese does not care who would be the prime minister of our nation as long as that candidate would lead the nation as a Malaysian in particular instead of singling out his own origin first as priority.
One more advice to all Umno leaders and that Perlis Umno warlord as well, look inside the BN coalition and inside Umno itself first before you continue with all your racist jargon against all Malaysians. How did Umno treat their BN partners, MCA, Gerakan and SUPP all this while? When MCA, Gerakan and SUPP were very strong in the BN coalition, why aren't these BN Chinese-based parties are offered the position of the prime minister at that particular period? If you take Shahidan's reason as the fact, then MCA, Gerakan and SUPP are too racist in their mindset during that period.
So, automatically, it is Umno who is the most racist in mindset because they did not want to trust MCA, Gerakan and SUPP as their true equal BN partners all this while. That is why Umno has continue holding on to the prime minister's position for decades even when MCA, Gerakan and SUPP were strong at that time. Strong but not as equal coalition partners in the BN but a mere strong running dogs!
Then, when Umno's "strong running dogs" became weaker after the last two general elections, they have no other choice but to shift the "racist mindset" tag out of the BN coalition so that Umno could further divide the nation by trying to stir up Malay suspicion and hatred towards the Chinese on their behalf. Just look at how racist is Umno now. They are now good at only Hate, Hate, Hate and nothing else but Hate in their mindset.
Be careful, Umno is certain to further divide the entire nation now and in the future. Just watch these barbarians' move closely.
