Isma Attacking and Insulting Islam Themselves

Image
A pro-Umno racist and extremist group Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia (Isma) has continuously blamed the opposition leaders for failing to see Islam is under threat from elements of Jews, Freemasons and Christians or whatsoever they saw it as "western", thus further accusing the oppositions as pro-western and pro-Christian as well. So, Isma, is this why Churches and other places of worship has been attacked and fire-bombed recently. Is this some sort of your so-called warning? Isma speaks and behaves like a terrorist at large. Isma should also realize are all their actions such as, hate, racism and violence in line with the teachings in the holy Quran. In fact, whatever Isma is doing right now is certainly attacking and damaging the reputation of Islam itself. Isma has done nothing good for the sake of Islam so far because whatever actions that they have been carrying out all this while are all against the principles and teachings of Islam and the holy Quran. Isma has indeed ...

Why MCA is insulting a great town like Kajang and its residents?

Image
When the Opposition front decides to endorse parliamentary opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim to contest in the Kajang state constituency, MCA deputy president Wee Ka Siong was quick to mock that why should a great leader like Anwar contest in that so-called "satay" town. So, looks like MCA and its party deputy president has indirectly insulted the people of Kajang by mocking that the said great leader (Anwar) should not contest in that town in the next coming by election. Apart from that, Wee had also failed to give any affirmative on whether MCA would fill its "great" leader or candidate to contest against Anwar's candidacy. Is MCA or Wee afraid of realizing their candidate for this "traditional" seat of theirs? To-date, MCA and its leaders are still speaking politically like a coward. If they were to really want to put their candidate in that state constituency to fight PKR and Anwar at all cost, we will also ask, what for? Knowing that the peop...

As BN neutralises fraud, people are made to pay for its folly

This article was published in TheAntDaily.com on 20/1/2014 As expected, another former leader of a Barisan Nasional (BN) component party has been acquitted of charges of cheating, corruption and power abuse in the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) scandal. It was either one acquittal after another or cases were not taken to the prosecution stage because of lack of evidence. What happened to the Attorney-Generalā€™s Chambers (AGC), Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the police? Are they really carrying out their responsibilities? The nation has lost billions of ringgit in public funds because of such fraud and until today no real culprits, or should we say big fish, were brought to justice and convicted accordingly. In fact, one of the major players of the PKFZ scandal was not even charged and was rewarded with a government posting in another country. Only a few of those involved were charged and they are mostly low-ranking officials. How could these low-ranking of...

TURUNā€™s struggle cuts across racial and religious barriers

Image
This article was earlier published in TheAntDaily.com on 12/1/2014 When the Gerakan Turun Kos Sara Hidup (Turun) decided to take to the streets on New Yearā€™s eve at Dataran Merdeka, they received an immediate negative reaction from several pro-establishment groups and political parties. Umno leaders were quick to brand the Turun group as a ā€œterroristā€ organisation attempting to overthrow the Umno-led Barisan Nasional government by force. Pro-Umno NGOs and religious extremist groups too immediately branded Turun as a deviant group consisting of ā€œnon-Muslimsā€ and ā€œnon-Malaysā€ in majority trying to undermine the Malay dominance and Islam in this country. They urged their counterparts to lodge as many police reports as possible nationwide against Turun and the organisers at large. And then, the police suddenly came up with their full battle gears leaving their respective local stations empty, mobilised their entire force into the city in order to curb what they had claime...

Religion Cannot Be Part of The State

Image
Does everyone know what religion and what is the function of the religion? Religion is the way of life that should enable each individual to attain the highest possible development in his spiritual, moral, physical and intellectual faculties. The function of every religion is to establish and to maintain the most harmonious relationship between men and his Creator on the one hand and between men to men in all aspects of their relationship on the other. But if a religion is often misinterpreted, misused and corruptly abused by some quarters of men who are in power, like the ruling elites, powerful politicians and made part of the governmentā€™s day to day rule and enforcement in order to control and subdue the citizens as well as other religions, then the religion of that state has become what Karl Marx, a renowned German philosopher and founder of the revolutionary communism, had defined the term as ā€œthe opiate of the peopleā€. So, this particular religion of the state...

Skandal PKFZ, Semua Tidak Bersalah, Siapa Lagi?

Why should people bear the consequences of an inefficient government?

This article was earlier published in TheAntDaily.com on 30/12/2013 After the fuel price was raised by the Barisan Nasional (BN) government, the prices of other essential items and public utilities are due to increase beginning January 2014. And if the BN leaders are denying that, we are expecting it because we know that they are not telling the truth anyway. Our people are getting frustrated with the entire situation. Almost every day, we see the impact of the price increases. Our food supplies and other daily needs are affected one way or another. It is very clear that inflation is just right in front of us. While the BN government is taking back the subsidies of importance one after another, the Putrajaya administration budget deficits keep on increasing annually. The deficits did not actually happen overnight or innocently like what many BN leaders claimed. Decades of overspending, power abuse, mismanagement and corruption has driven our nation into a dangerous si...
