Hitler’s Germany and Umno’s Malaysia

Before Adolf Hitler achieve power in Germany, he uses his party security unit called Sturmabteilung (SA) to reigned terror in the streets of Berlin and other German cities. He wanted to show to the German people that his party was their only choice to rebuild Germany in a Germanic way and of Aryan origin.

Hitler believed that all Germans are of the Aryan race of high classic quality. That is why he relied on the SA to define the Germanic supremacy to the people and turned the entire nation into a uniformed state after he came to power.

When Hitler became Chancellor on 30 January 1933, he race against time to enlarge his party militia unit Schutzstaffel (SS) into a formidable military force aimed of serving and advancing the interest the of the Nazi Party.

The SS was soon enlarged into Waffen-SS (regular SS military force) with its own logistics and ammunitions, like tanks, fighter planes, artilleries and other large weaponry similar to the German’s regular army, called the Wehrmacht. The Waffen-SS soon became the most sophisticated political military force in Europe at that time.

When Hitler’s Germany expanded its borders over the other European continents, the Nazi Party’s SA, SS and Waffen-SS were unleashed into action tasked of wiping out whatever opposition or resistance came into sight. Concentration camps were established in many parts of Europe in order to imprison political, war and civil prisoners.

Besides, the SA and SS were also tasked of advancing the Germanic supremacy all over Europe. Ethnic cleansing were widely carried by these two Nazi organizations, where Jews, African origins, Gypsies and Nomads were wiped out without any show of mercy.

And this is what happened in Germany and Europe from the year 1933 to 1945.

Today in our country called Malaysia, this similar happening might re-emerge just because of one political party who also rule this nation with its supremacist ideology and its aim is to control this country at all cost even though it has became irrelevant and unpopular.

That political party is called the United Malays National Organization or also known as Umno in a simple abbreviation. Umno is currently a dominant party and hold the most powerful key in decision making in the ruling coalition called Barisan Nasional (BN) which consist of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC), Malaysian People’s Movement (Gerakan) and People’s Progressive Party (PPP) as the coalition’s ruling partners but with no real powers and effective roles to play.

All member parties of the BN coalition are required to strictly adhere to the core ideology of Umno called the Malay Supremacy (Ketuanan). Besides, leaders of the member parties of the BN were also given minor ministerial positions in the federal government in order to show the people the so-called power-sharing concept that Umno is practicing but in actual fact there is none.

Because of Umno’s continuous dominant force over its BN partners, MCA, MIC, Gerakan and PPP who are powerless to prevent the mounted racist agenda of its master, the people decided to vote out the BN coalition and denied them the two-thirds majority in the last general elections.

Despite losing its two-thirds majority in the last general elections, Umno and its BN partners are still in denial mode. They denied that they had done wrong, offended the people and looted the entire nation with their corrupt practices and vast power abuses.

Umno still wanted to remain in power, as long as they could, even if they had now became irrelevant and unpopular or even when the people had rejected them. Umno wanted to be powerful and to control the nation with their iron fist.

So, this is their plan. On 9 August recently the defense minister Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi who is also the Umno vice president is putting up a contingency plan to have all the party youth leaders to undergo military training in order to strengthen the party’s security and political readiness.

You see, what had happened in Germany might be happening here in Malaysia very soon, if we do not observe the current situation in detail. Is Umno trying to build a militia force of its own? Are they going to utilize the militia to curb the rising Pakatan Rakyat (PR) in near future?

What then, will Umno turn our country into?
