MH370 SAR: We offer our salute to ACM Angus Houston
We have been observing the manner Air Chief Marshal (Rtd) Angus Houston handles the Australian-based Joint Agencies Coordinating Centre (JACC) in their effort to track the missing Malaysian Airlines (MAS) plane MH370. All his actions demonstrated during the entire situation are of utmost professionalism.
Ever since his appointment to head the JACC, a joint international search and rescue (SAR) effort to track the missing MH370, Marshal Houston has done a lot to convey his message to the families and the press in a very professional manner.
Certainly no one, not even our nation's prime minister, defense minister, air force chief, the armed force chief, the inspector-general of police, the director-general of the department of civil aviation or the MAS chief executive officer cannot be compared with Marshal Houston.
The retired Australian chief of defense force has indeed done well in the current crisis management. His details, statements and explanations are indeed straight to the point, where everyone of us understands whatever he says or the way he elaborate those message. No flip flops, he did not assume anything, no retracting any statements mentioned earlier like what happened to all those Malaysian government officials.
Eventhough he has retired from the Australian defense force, we will still offer our salute to him for his professional job and his utmost performance in the JACC so far.
Thank you Sir!
