It seems Umno leaders are now using the phrase “stability” so they could get away with their various wrongs highlighted by the opposition leaders. Instead of acknowledging their mistakes, Umno leaders frequently used “stability” as a weapon against the opposition by accusing the later of attempting to destabilise the nation by calling for our people’s “revolt”.
What is stability for economic growth, when there is excessive corruption among leaders and politicians of the ruling party, Umno from top right down to the bottom. Their everyday routines are all about money, projects, contracts, you help me and I will help you, favours, “coffees”, cronyism, warlordism and all these had even made these leaders and politicians even wealthier, staying in mansions, palatial palaces which are even larger than the constitutional monarchs’.
What is stability for economic growth, when there is excessive power abuse among leaders and politicians of the ruling party, Umno from top right down to the bottom. These leaders and politicians abuse their positions and powers almost everyday, by spending on lavish materials and items using public funds, approving projects and contracts in favour of their family members, relatives, friends and party leaders.
What is stability for economic growth, when there is excessive mismanagement in the federal government’s administration, proceedings and procurement when leaders of the ruling party encourage these senior officials to abuse their authorities by approving jobs and favours to their cronies at prices above market value? Leaders of the ruling party and senior officials also often abuse their positions to obtain more payout from the treasury.
Again, what is stability for economic growth, when there is excessive racial and religious extremism within the government and the ruling party. Leaders of the ruling party often use race and religion as an issue to shield themselves from criticisms and exposures of wrongdoings by accusing the oppositions of going against a particular race and the official religion of this country.
Yes, Umno leaders indeed love “political stability” so they could continuously carry out their wonders and have grave access into the government treasury which could continuously enrich themselves, their families, associates, cronies and party supporters.
They utilise their powers to create more draconian laws in the name of “political stability”, they arrest and jail critics in the name of “political stability”, they blocked and erase your concerns and highlights in the name of “political stability”, they cover-up their many wrongdoings and crimes in the name of “political stability”, they cover-up the 1MDB scandal and the RM2.6 billion bribery in the MO1’s personal account, they ban publications, blocked news reports all in the name of “political stability”, so they could continue with their “personal economic growth” while our people continue to bear the consequences by having to pay more in taxes, GST and endure into a high-rated inflation.
Our people must therefore carefully understand the definition of “political stability” for our nation as the Umno government has unleash thousands of “fake news reports” almost daily in order to urge our people to support “political stability” which is actually not in the name of our nation, but more to the fact of ensuring the survival of Umno in the corridors of power so they could continue their misadventures in the treasury.
The fact that is, there shall be no real political stability if corruption, power abuse and mismanagement in the Umno-led government continue to go rampant within. We urge our people to unite in their stand against the “political stability” in Umno, so that we could get rid of corruption, power abuse, mismanagement, racial and religious extremism from our nation so we could create a real political stability for our nation for the economy to grow steadily and gracefully.
